چکیده

Botrytis cinerea (B. cinerea) Pers. Fr. [teleomorph Botryo t in ia fucke l iana (de Bary ) Whetze l ] i s a phytopathogenic fungi responsible for grey mould, which is an important disease in more than 200 species of fruits, vegetables, ornamental crops and affecting a great number of organs[1]. Grey mould, cause important economic losses before and after the harvest[2], worldwide losses from this fungus account for 20% of the harvest of the affected crops, and the cost is estimated at 10-100 billion euros per year. The market size for anti-Botrytis products has been 15-25 million US dollars in recent 3 years[3]. An important biological feature is that the process of infection and growth by B. cinerea is often associated with prior colonization of dead or dying plant debris as a nutrientPEER REVIEW ABSTRACT

Correlations of Morphological, Anatomical, and Chemical Features of Grape Berries with Resistance to Botrytis cinerea.

ABSTRACT Resistance of mature berries of grapevine cultivars and selections to postharvest infection by Botrytis cinerea was assessed. Little or no resistance existed in most popular table grape Vitis vinifera cultivars, except in moderately resistant 'Emperor' and 'Autumn Black'. Highly resistant grapes were V. rotundifolia, V. labrusca, or other complex hybrids. Morphological, anatomical, and...
